DivjaLabs is a spin-out company from the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, founded in 2022 by a team of dedicated scientists. Our diverse and multi-disciplinary group applies cutting-edge molecular and computational tools to real-world challenges in biodiversity conservation and wildlife management.

what does “divja”mean and how do you pronounce it?

Divja means wild in Slovenian.
In a way, it depicts our inquisitive and adventurous spirits but most of all, it reflects our
appreciation of nature and wildlife.

Providing convenient, cost-effective and reliable access to advanced molecular and bioinformatic tools for biodiversity conservation to a wide range of users
Contributing to the development of science, including development of new methods, knowledge transfer and capacity building in the fields of conservation genetics, molecular ecology and bioinformatics
Being a reliable partner in development and implementation of complex conservation and research projects
